Barbara has lived in Boston, MA all her life and has studied extensively at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and privately under the amazing mentorship of artist Evelina Brozgul Krone.  She travels frequently to the US Virgin Islands and finds its breathtaking beauty an irresistable inspiration.  While traveling, she exclusively uses watercolor to capture the brilliant colors of the Caribbean.  In studio, oil color is preferred, painting from still life set ups and en plein air around New England.
